My teachers told me if i had the choice, I should choose to be right handed as it would be easier in life
long roll of paper with the phrase ‘I am right handed’ written over and over, starts of messy and gradually gets neater

In this work I compared the experience of my teachers suggesting that it is preferable and easier to be right-handed to the experience of queerness and other forms of marginalisation. In this work I wrote the sentence “I am right handed” repeatedly with my left hand, gradually learning to be able to write and “pass” as being able to write with that hand. The work references self-punishment, moralistic right(ness) and structural marginalisation.
