Joe Lawn is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, intersectionality and community. Their practice culminates in a number of different outcomes and acts: creating publications, boarding up windows, site specific interventions and recreating demolished/previously squatted buildings. All of these have an element of performance, the act being just as important as the outcome itself.

Joe also works in a school, creating more accessible learning environments. This is currently just as important to them as their art practice and things that are traditionally seen as art.
