‘THIS WAY UP’ - Instillation shot, October 2019, WEBB Gallery, Griffith University, Australia.

This series of works is a playful experiment with the packaging instructions ‘this way up’. I made these works for a group show, which was named after these works, in October 2019. All of the works in the exhibition were made in London and sent via airmail to Australia, along with instructions on how to be displayed. As well as making a joke about Australians being upside down, these works act as their own, often confusing, instructions for installation. The exhibition was put on in collaboration with a group of PhD students at Griffith University who we organised to swap exhibitions with as a curatorial experiment.
