‘I PROMISE TO PAINT OVER THIS’ was a series of graffitiing I did anonymously in the corridors of Chelsea Collage of Arts, testing the boundaries of the students of an art school with the estates. I painted on the walls in the evenings when no one was around and then painted over again a week later. The work also included red spray paint done by someone else. The work was about creating a contract within the public space and also playing with how temporary art can continue to exist after it has been removed.
